Carrick Lowland Gathering Saughhill Race

The Saughhill Race is organised by the committee of Girvan Harriers

The race commences at 14:00

The Saughhill race is 4.5km and is a climb of 265m. The race is open to any runners. There is no requirement to be a member of a club.

Entry

Entries for the hill race are taken on the day at a cost of £2 for seniors and £1 for juniors. The registration takes place on Victory Park near to the play park and Queens Drive.

  • Male – Iain MacCorquodale – 2017 – 20 minutes 38 seconds
Kids Race

There is also a race for kids which goes up to the top of Johnnie’s road and back down.

Girvan Harriers

Girvan Harriers (Formerly Girvan AAC) is aimed at anyone who wants to get out running. No matter your ability come along to training on a Tuesday 18:00 or Thursday 19:00 . We meet in front of Girvan Academy ( at the main entrance on The Avenue) and will plan a route or session accordingly.
